We observe the official UAE public holidays: New Year's Day (1 January), Eid Al Fitr, Arafat Day and Eid Al Adha, Hijri New Year, Prophet Muhammad's Birthday, Commemoration Day (1 December) and UAE National Day (2 to 3 December). Dates of the Islamic holidays are confirmed each year by the UAE government.
